Left on Friday morning for Sanzo and Hakkai in a basket outside of their hotel room:

-Two pumpkin muffins
-Two chocolate chip muffins
-Two blueberry muffins
-Two cranberry muffins
-Two plain bagels with cream cheese
-One container full of fresh fruit
-One thermos filled with tea
-One thermos filled with coffee
-packets of sugar and cream
-A note inside an envelope addressed to Hakkai and Sanzo, written on a card with the Cullen family crest on the front:

I couldn't see what you guys would be in the mood for when you woke up this morning, so I included a little bit of everything. I'm afraid I can't take credit for making any of it; it comes from a local bakery that seems to be quite popular around here. I've never tried it, and have no plans to do so, so you'll have to let me know if it lives up to its reputation.

I wish I had been able to see if Bella was going to attend Piper's party or not. I would have liked to go, but even though she'd already decided not to go, I had seen that Charlie might be able to talk her into going, but I guess not... oh well. It's probably good that I didn't go. If I had, someone surely would have mentioned it to Bella, and she's not supposed to know anything about our whereabouts.

I really wish that I could go to Seto's party. It sounds lovely, and it would be great to see him and Jounouchi again, and all of the other people who are planning to go. I don't foresee Bella going to his party, but it's still probably better if I don't. Edward said it must be as though we never existed to her, and it wouldn't do for her to hear about me showing up at a party.

*sigh* I've tried to tell Edward that I fear that Bella may resort to doing something reckless since he's left her, but he doesn't believe me. He says that she promised him that she wouldn't do anything stupid. I haven't seen anything, but I know her, and I worry.

He told me not to look for her future anymore. He says that we've done enough damage and he doesn't want me interfering in her life, however remotely. But just because I'm not looking doesn't mean I won't see. I don't always have a choice in the matter. I'm attuned to her now, almost as well as I'm attuned to my family.

Due to arrive tomorrow; sent in a box with no return address, postmarked Denali, Alaska:

God, Edward can be so stupid sometimes. He has decided that it's not safe for Bella to be around us anymore, because of how Jasper reacted to her paper cut. I agree, it's not safe for her as long as she's human. But she wants to be turned, and I don't understand why he won't just do it. This whole thing is absolutely ridiculous. If he would turn her, or let Carlisle turn her, she would be one of us. She wouldn't be constantly in danger because of us. But no, he refuses to allow her to be turned, and now he's going to tear her apart, and tear himself apart, and uproot our entire family because of his stubbornness and idiocy. Jasper didn't even touch her, for God's sake! It's not as serious as he's making it out to be.

He won't even let me say goodbye to Bella. He thinks that it would be best if she has a clean break from all of us. We're leaving Forks tomorrow morning, and he's staying behind to break up with her, and she won't even know we're gone until he tells her after school tomorrow. I don't get to say goodbye to my best friend, and I can't tell her where I'm going, and Edward won't let me contact her anymore. She's his mate, so I have to respect his wishes regarding her, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

I have a very bad feeling about what's going to happen to Bella when we're gone. I can't see anything definite; it's all very foggy. I wouldn't be surprised if she loses it completely or even tries to kill herself. It won't be good for him, either. He loves her so deeply that it's going to make him utterly miserable being apart from her. I've tried warning Edward, tried telling him that I think that this is a very bad idea both for him and for her, but he won't listen to reason. He's convinced that his plan is the best plan, and he's determined to see it through.

Jasper, of course, feels responsible for everything and very guilty for trying to attack Bella in the first place. I keep trying to tell him that it wasn't his fault, that nobody blames him for what happened including Bella and Edward, but he doesn't want to listen.

Carlisle held a family meeting today so that he and I could explain to the rest of the family why Hakkai and Sanzo will be coming to visit. They all seemed alright with it except for Rosalie, but that was to be expected. Rosalie doesn't trust anyone outside of our family.

Hakkai and Sanzo, Carlisle says that he can meet with you in about a month if that's convenient for you guys. You're welcome to stay at our house, but if you don't think that you'd be comfortable there, you can of course feel free to book a hotel room.

Bella's birthday is on Sunday, and I'm throwing a party for her. Nothing big, just a small party with my family with cake and presents. It's meant to be a surprise, but I suspect that she knows that I'm planning something. She knows me too well. I already talked to Charlie about it and he's all for it. Tonight I'm helping Edward make his gift for Bella. I hope that she likes it!

Rosalie and Emmett will be home from Africa tomorrow morning. Jasper and I went and bought their gift to Bella this evening. It's all wrapped and ready to go on Sunday. :D

She'll be upset with me for throwing a party for her. I can see it. But I can't help it. It's been so long since we've had a real birthday to celebrate, and I'm excited.

Well, it's back to school for me and Edward and Bella this week. So far, it's not been terribly exciting, but not bad either. I have gym class with Edward again, thank goodness. School is kind of lonely without Jasper and Emmett and Rosalie there, but Bella's friends seem to tolerate me and Edward at their lunch table even if they aren't thrilled about it, so at least we don't have to sit alone.

Bella, just as a heads up, Emmett and Rosalie are leaving on Wednesday to go to Africa for a while. I know you don't get along with Rose but I thought you might like to say goodbye to Emmett before they leave.

Do you remember how we'd talked at Piper's club about getting together sometime? I was wondering if perhaps you'd like to do so before I have to go back to school. Not that we couldn't do it after I go back to school, but I have a lot more free time now than I will once school starts again.

Colour: My favorite color is pink. Generally I prefer light colors to darker colors, especially when it comes to clothing.

Jasper: Jasper is my boyfriend. We love each other very much, and we intend to be together for a very long time.

Flower: I like flowers. They're pretty, both growing outdoors and decorating the house in vases. They smell nice too, at least, most of them do.

Smile: I smile a lot. I think it's easier to face whatever comes your way if you do so with a positive attitude.

Dancing: I love to dance. I've always enjoyed ballroom dancing with Jasper, but I've recently discovered that I also like more informal types of dance as well.

Forks: Forks, Washington is the town where I live with my family. It rains a lot here.

Car: I don't have a car of my own, but when I decide to get one, I know it will be something fast. Maybe a Porsche, or a Ferrari. I like sports cars. As of right now, I borrow either Carlisle's or Rosalie's or Edward's car when I need to go somewhere.

Career: My current career is a high school student. When I graduate, well, I'm not really sure what I want to do yet. I might go to school for fashion design, as it's something that I really love. Or I might decide to do something else altogether.

Future: Hm... I suppose I sort of touched on this in the last question. Whatever I decide to do, I know that my future is with Jasper. I realize that we're both young, but we love each other very much and nothing will ever change that.

Happiness: For me, happiness is spending time with the people that I love. Whether it's helping Jasper cheat at playing chess against Emmett, camping with my family, or dragging Bella out shopping, I enjoy every second of it.

Brother: I have two brothers, Edward and Emmett. They're as different as night and day, and I love them both dearly. Emmett's more the rough and tumble type and loves sports and video games. Edward's quieter and calmer and likes music and playing the piano. They do have some interests in common though. They both enjoy camping and being outdoors.

School: I'm currently enrolled in Forks High School, and I'll be a senior this coming school year. I can't wait to graduate.

Fashion: I love fashion and everything to do with it. Shopping is one of my favorite pastimes, and I like designing clothes as well. Carlisle bought me a fashion design program a while ago, and I love putting together outfits for not just me, but everyone in my family.

Friends: I don't have many friends, but the ones that I do have mean quite a lot to me.

Fun: I do a lot of different things to have fun. I mentioned shopping and fashion design before, and I like playing around with hair and makeup... Sometimes Bella's a good sport and lets me experiment on her. I like playing sports too. Maybe not as much as Emmett and Jasper, but I do enjoy them. I like to dance, and once in a while I sing, too.
